The project aims to prototype interventions and demonstrate models that will contribute to a significant reduction of care cascade gaps while simultaneously strengthening health systems. The activities also help in improving the resilience of the health system to fight against such newer threats.

Reduction in the gaps across the TB care cascade while simultaneously strengthening health systems for TB interventions.
1) identify gaps in the care cascade to evaluate outcomes across various stages of patient engagement with the health system;
2) implement multi-component and targeted interventions to address dropouts in the care cascade and demonstrate the patient and population-level impact that can be scaled, and
3) optimize workflows to coordinate the care cascade and motivate and build district capacity to continuously monitor and drive quality improvement initiatives.
The activity develops interventions and demonstrates models that contribute to a significant reduction in the gaps across the TB care cascade while simultaneously strengthening health systems for TB interventions. The activity emphasizes models that optimize care delivery across the entire cascade and are highly likely to translate into successful treatment outcomes and when scaled, have a substantial impact on TB epidemiology.
