The Government of India remains committed to strengthening the systems for adolescents through a series of programs, first launched in 2005. A rapid review of the various programs revealed that some key challenges remained in four domains such as setting up of infrastructure and enhancing community engagement. The review highlights that the RKSK Scheme integrated learnings from the ARSH Strategy and built upon its successes in some programmatic areas. It also provided critical inputs for further planning and investment in adolescent health programming in the country. This paper can be used by policy makers to further strengthen the adolescent health programs in the country. Click here to read the research report.
