Mission Indradhanush, launched by the Government of India in 2014, aims to fully immunize 90% of the country's young children. Making the program a success requires grassroot level work, both in the rural as well as urban areas. The latter are specially difficult to deliver in, given the migrant population that does not appear on any map. This article showcases the efforts being driven by Community Health Workers and doctors in achieving 90% immunization as well as better child health through distribution of supplements such as zinc and folic acid. This article can provide learnings and inspiration to other implementers of Mission Indradhanush. Click here to read the article.
