It is critical to integrate TB and HIV services so that people can be screened, tested, treated and offered prevention for both diseases, ideally under the same roof, by the same health worker and on the same day. While this document is focused on achieving the TB and HIV 2020 targets, it highlights the gaps that existed in the pre COVID times. It also emphasizes that TB is the leading cause of death amongst PLHIVs.
